This month, we attended the Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE) London Dinner 2024 at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel. The dinner was an announcement and celebration of the winner of this year’s Plumbing Centre of Excellence (PCE)/Young Engineers’ Network (YEN) Plumbing Competition, which took place in June.

A number of our colleagues attended on behalf of Aliaxis: Barry Stubbs, Craig Norman, Aqeel Nazir, Andy Watts, Keith Church, and David Thomas.

The winner of the competition was announced on the night, and we'd like to offer a huge congratulations to the winner of Young Engineer of the Year: Roma Prychidko! Amazing work, Roma!

We’d also like to congratulate the runners up: Klaudia Rudzionek, Bushra Mamnoon, and Tamim Zeineddine. You can all be extremely proud of yourselves.

Events like the PCE/YEN Plumbing Competition are absolutely vital in attracting, encouraging and celebrating new talent in the industry. These platforms help to boost the skills and confidence of the next generation, which helps to strengthen the sector as a whole.

At Aliaxis, we’re proud to provide career opportunities and progression across our business, and we’ll always do our part to help the next generation thrive.
