A key element when choosing a system for a given application, is selecting a solution that is compatible with the chemical substance being conveyed. This seems obvious, but with the many materials available today, selecting the right one can be a daunting task. For this reason, design engineers often turn to us for guidance on the right piping materials for their projects.
Now, with our new Chemical Resistance Guide, we can further support the material selection process with an intuitive, time-saving and user-friendly web-based tool that allows customers to determine the compatibility of our system materials with a multitude of chemical substances. Our Guide features the ability to check the chemical resistance of over 20 pipe, fitting, valve, seal, and measurement & instrumentation materials with close to 500 chemical substances, at various concentrations and temperatures.
A newly added feature in the Guide allows our customers to generate a PDF submittal document based on the results of their chemical resistance search query. Providing our customers with the ability to create a tailored submittal document that can be included directly in a project’s construction documents is definitely an asset. Not only does this feature make a customer’s job easier, but is also supports the specification of Aliaxis systems on a project.
